Tangerang Towers
1,200,000 SF mixed-use building organized around a public water park and a shopping center podium

Within a historically industrial district, a new mixed-use building consisting of an extensive commercial podium and four residential towers was planned to meet the needs of the rising affluence of the city's residents. The elements of the architecture harkened back to the industrial origins of the site, utilizing roughened metals as cladding and large trusses at the base podium, while the towers were enclosed behind finer textured metals and larger glass openings. The building narrated a fictional story of an industrial complex revival fashioned in a modern architectural tectonic. Woven between pedestrian walkways and commercial spaces, an extensive water park carved its way from end to end. Sounds of water lapping and excited users would echo about the canyon of metal-clad structures.
