Occupying 25 hectares of agricultural land on a terraced mountain valley, the resort housed 350 guestrooms within its main building block, while its 80 villas were distributed down the steep natural topography to create an internal eco-resort with meandering walking paths, delightful water cascades, and heated pools. Using local stones, woods, and roof tiles and partially retaining the agricultural functions of the land, the architecture respected the local craftspeople's mark on the contemporary destination and allowed the guests to gain insight to the local residents' authentic way of life.
