At 5G, we are committed to sustainability for all of our projects. Our experience ranges from sustainably-designed master planning with mixed-use development and pedestrian-friendly communities to single-family homes that have minimal carbon footprints. When the budget is tight, we incorporate sustainable design principles that add little if any to the construction budget. When a client desires a project with a higher level of energy and water efficiency, we work with that client to achieve a design that incorporates the latest in sustainable technology and allows long-term savings from front-end investment in energy and water-saving design elements. We pride ourselves in keeping up with the latest research in sustainable design, and we are well-versed in sustainable design principles that have been used throughout the history of architectural design.

Sustainability Consulting
5G provides full service LEED AP Consulting on every aspect of a project's lifecycle. We believe that the LEED Rating System is an important tool that has transformed the real estate market by providing a value metric to sustainable buildings, and we respect the rigorous process of LEED certification that continues to raise the bar for sustainability as new versions of the LEED Rating System emerge. We have experience with leading the LEED process for projects where 5Gstudio is the Design Architect, and we also offer LEED consulting services for projects where another Architect is leading the design process. We can act as a third-party LEED consultant that will guide the entire project team, or we can serve as a LEED consultant to just the General Contractor. We are very familiar with all of the credits in the LEED Rating System and how to make the LEED process as cost-effective as possible.
