Scott Lowe drives 5G’s vision as an innovative, client-centered group of architects, project managers, designers and planners. He launched the firm in 2005 with partners Hoang Dang, Yen Ong and was later joined by Jacob Tindall. Today, 5G has offices and clients worldwide. Scott has extensive experience designing and managing large projects for major firms. Before founding 5G, he worked for The Beck Group (formerly Urban Architecture), designing in a wide range of categories, including religious, civic, office, residential and retail. Scott is responsible for 5G’s overall business vision and development, including growth tactics and financial stability. He brings an innovative approach to the design and management of key projects, including the 1,000- room Dallas Convention Center Hotel; the planned four-star Dallas Chop House on Main Street in Downtown Dallas; and the Novotel in Phu Quoc, a 200- room resort on an island south of Vietnam. A native of the Texas Panhandle, Scott holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from the University of Oklahoma. He is a LEED- accredited professional and a member of the Sustainable Committee of the Urban Land Institute of North Texas. He recently received Vincom’s Grade A for 5G’s entry in the Royal City International Design Competition.
