Junyoung’s varied and extensive background provides a solid understanding of design, engineering, and construction administration, which aides in his comprehension and mastery of the complete building process. An award-winning Architect, Junyoung has previously worked for firms such as: HOK and HKS, on such projects as: the Samsung Global Engineering Center, the Houstonian Hotel and Residences and the Financial District Hotel Design Competition in Abu Dhabi. For his work on the Samsung Global Engineering Center, Junyoung received the AIA Dallas Excellence in Sustainable Design award, as well as the AIA Dallas Unbuilt Merit award. With over ten years of experience in the building industry, Junyoung’s thorough understanding of the process enables him to design buildable and inspired spaces. Junyoung was born and raised in Seoul, Korea, and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics and Oceanography at The Seoul National University, A Master of Architectural Engineering at The Chungnam National University in Deajun, Korea, and a Master of Architecture from the University of Texas at Austin. He is an AIA registered Architect in Texas, and is also LEED AP certified.
