| Jacob heads up 5G’s branding division, helping clients develop and deliver identity solutions through design, interactive media, and high impact collateral materials. He also manages the firm’s financial transactions as well as its software and technology. An expert in 3D modeling and web design/ production, Jacob is a familiar face on the lecture circuit. Past speaking engagements have included forums on Digital Elevation Modeling and Digital Design at The American Society of Landscape Architecture and a discourse on Building Information Modeling at The Texas Society of Architecture. In 2008, he won the Outstanding Achievement Award in the International Interactive Media Awards Competition. The previous year, while at The Beck Group, Jacob was the Project Designer for the team that was awarded a DBIA Design-Build Excellence Award. A native of Norman, Oklahoma, Jacob received a Bachelor of Science in Architecture at the University of Oklahoma. His career began with the creation of the special effects for the PBS documentary “The Great Missoula Floods” which earned him a Telly Award. He was a ten year veteran of The Beck Group, where he worked as a lead designer on a range of projects including Potter’s House and the Dallas Zoo Restaurant before founding the company’s media and branding group, Beck Blue Media. Since joining 5G in 2007, Jacob has cultivated ongoing professional relationships with a number of the real estate market’s most esteemed firms including Hillwood, Hines, and Henry S. Miller. |
