The nation’s largest Asian-American Chamber of commerce recognized 5G Studio for its leadership in international business.
5G was a finalist in the 2012 International Business category of awards presented this year by The Greater Dallas Asian American Chamber of Commerce (GDAACC). These accolades are given each year to Asian-American owned businesses based in North Texas that are contributing to the economy in innovative ways in their work in the global marketplace of Asia. The awards are determined by nominations from the community and evaluated by the GDAACC Board of Directors representing some of the world’s most successful business brands and organizations.
Yen Ong, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP BD+C, and partner and co-founder of 5G Studio Collaborative, received a Finalist award for International Business at the GDAACC’s Awards Banquet on October 19 in Dallas. 5G’s architectural achievements from offices in United States as well as services in 5G offices in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, Vietnam, have achieved the firm this recognition.
The GDAACC hosted the annual event at the Hyatt Regency in Richardson, and the event was keynoted by Phil Ritter, Executive Vice President, Government and Stakeholder Affairs for DFW International Airport.
