Hidajat’s design expertise yields beautiful structures that are both sustainable and efficient. Having spent nearly two decades at the helm of Indonesia’s largest architectural practice, Airmas Asri Architects, he excels at solving complex, multi-faceted programming and design issues. A native of Jakarta, Indonesia, Hidajat obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture and Master of Architecture from Parahyangan Catholic University. He began his career as a Construction Manager at Encona Engineering Inc. in Jakarta, Indonesia, where a $150,000 million aircraft maintenance facility was among one of his first projects. In 1985, he founded Airmas Asri Architects with two colleagues. Over the next 19 years, Hidajat oversaw the design and construction of some of Indonesia’s most notable commercial properties including the DEA Tower (1 and 2), Danamon Tower, Talavera Tower, the Mangga Dua Square, The Ritz Carlton Bintan, the Central Bank of Indonesia, Mandarin Oriental Jakarta, and the $1 billion Philip Morris corporate campus, Jakarta Greenfield project. Today, Hidajat’s extensive experience is an invaluable asset to 5G. He is responsible for the firm’s overseas business initiatives and project execution. Some of his recent 5G projects include the award-winning 15 million-square-foot, mixed use Royal City urban development, Star City Tower and Tran Vu Hotel, Dam Nai Lagoon master planned development, the Dallas Convention Center Omni Hotel, and the All Saints Catholic Newman Center. Hidajat is a member of the Indonesian Architects Association (Ikatan Arsitek Indonesia) and is a licensed architect in Indonesia and the State of Arizona.
