Fred brings an outstanding sensibility to the aesthetic palette of 5G. His refined detailing skills and his resourcefulness in working with the craftsmen of the construction industry enrich the quality of designs produced by the studio. He is responsible for developing new building technologies applicable to the design practice. Prior to joining 5G, Fred spent seven years apprenticing under the renowned Dallas architecture firm, Oglesby-Greene. His previous professional experience includes the Atlantis Resort in Nassau, the Bahamas, as well as the Angel Field Center, a Class-A office LEED Platinum project, and Montgomery Farm, a 500- acre environmentally-friendly residential community, both in Allen, Texas. At 5G, he has been responsible for designing the Parkway Baptist Church, the Belmont Merchant Homes, and the STOR storage facility and managing the interior design documentation of the Dallas Convention Center Hotel. Born in Hartford, Connecticut, Fred obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture degree from the Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, and a Master in Architecture degree for the University of Texas at Arlington. He is an active member of the US Green Building Council and a licensed architect in the state of Texas.
