Christine possesses specialized knowledge in sustainable design and emerging building technologies. Dedicated to the development of green buildings and communities, she designs and assesses each project for its potential to minimize negative impact on the environment and maximize positive impact on its occupants and surrounding community. Well-versed in sustainable design strategy and its ever-evolving technologies, Christine has led the green design process on projects at various scales from conception to construction. At 5G, she designed the Warrior and Family Support Center at Fort Sam Houston to meet the Army’s requirements of LEED Silver standards. She also directed the sustainable design analysis on the Dallas Convention Center Hotel, which is pursuing LEED Silver certification, and the All Saints Catholic Newman Center and Residence Hall Tower at the University of Arizona, which was designed to minimize the project’s energy and water consumption. In a role which has strengthened her sustainable design knowledge with construction field insight, Christine served as the LEED consultant to the General Contractor for Holiday Inn Westover Hills in San Antonio, also in pursuit of LEED Silver certification, to deliver the first building in the franchise achieving any certification by the USGBC. A Dallas native, Christine obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Architecture degree from the University of Texas at Austin. Before joining 5G, she worked with The Beck Group, where she served on the design teams for the Hunt Corporate Headquarters in Dallas and the City Hall in Melissa, Texas. Christine served as cochair of the Graphics Committee of the North Texas Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council in 2008 and is an active member of the Sustainability Committee of the Urban Land Institute of North Texas. She is licensed to practice architecture in the state of Texas.
